Kefir receipe

Kefir

2 cups fresh whole milk or preferably raw milk

1/2 cup good quality cream (optional)

1 Tbls kefir grains (found at any natural foods store) 

Mix together one package of kefir grains and slightly warmed milk (92 degrees). Stir or whip with whisk pour into container preferably glass with lid. Put lid on container and let ferment at 72-75 degrees for 18 to 24 hours. It is ready if milk has thickened with sour fragrance. Chill in refrigerator and sweetin to your liking with stevia...enjoy. 

Kefir contains strains of beneficial yeast and beneficial bacteria that give kefir antibiotic properties...a natural antibiotic...and it is made from milk!
